CULTIVATION

Renato Gabutti, an expert hazelnut grower, personally supervises more than 20 hectares of hazelnut groves in all phases of cultivation, from pruning to harvesting, carried out in several stages to preserve the healthiness of the product. The entire area is part of the national integrated production quality system (SQNPI), in order to practice agriculture that is respectful and sustainable for the environment.

TRANSFORMATION

The transformation of our product starts with careful cleaning and drying, followed by meticulous shelling. Our hazelnuts are now ready to enter the laboratory. We starts with the roasting, followed by the manual sorting, then we move on the final different processes: toasted hazelnuts, hazelnuts grain, hazelnut flour, hazelnut and chocolate cream, hazelnut pralines “Perle Di Langa” with chocolate or sugar, salted roasted hazelnuts, and finally our white, milk, and dark chocolate bars.

QUALITY AND TRACEABILITY

Our company is included in the control system of the North West Quality Institute, (a control body authorized by Mipaaf), as required by EU regulations; this guarantees that the "IGP Piedmont Hazelnut of the Langhe" we produce, comes from controlled hazelnut groves and complies with the requirements of the production specification.
The indication "Hazelnut of Piedmont" or "Piedmont Hazelnut" defines the fruit of the Variety "Tonda Gentile Trilobata" or better known as Tonda Gentile delle Langhe.
